Cookie Policy
What cookies and similar technologies this site uses, and how you can control them.
Last updated: 23 June 2026
About this policy
This policy explains how AILORA LIMITED uses cookies and similar technologies on ai-lora.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. We follow the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), the EU ePrivacy rules and the UK/EU GDPR.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. “Similar technologies” include local storage, which a site can use to remember information in your browser. They can be strictly necessary (needed for the site to work) or non-essential (such as analytics or advertising), which require your consent.
What we use
We keep this deliberately minimal. Today the site uses only strictly necessary storage and sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies:
- Theme preference — stored in your browser’s local storage to remember your light/dark choice. Strictly necessary for the feature; it stays until you clear it and is never sent to our servers.
- Security & rate-limiting — your IP address is processed briefly on our servers (not via cookies) to protect the assistant and contact form from abuse.
- Hosting — our host may set strictly necessary cookies or process logs to deliver and secure the site.
Analytics and advertising
We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics in future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires, ask for your consent through a cookie banner before any non-essential cookies are set.
Consent and legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies and storage are exempt from consent because the site cannot function properly without them; our legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure site. Any non-essential cookies would be set only with your consent, which you could withdraw at any time.
Managing cookies and storage
You are in control. You can:
- Clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time (doing so may reset preferences such as your chosen theme).
- Use your browser’s privacy or “do not track” features.
- Rely on the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — we honour it as an opt-out of any non-essential data sharing where applicable.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if our use of cookies changes. The current version, with its “last updated” date, will always be on this page.
